Care & Maintenance: Keep Your Gear Alive
Your gear is built to take a beating, but standard maintenance keeps it performing when it matters most. Here is how to clean your Cables and Weatherguard material:
End-of-Season Reset
- After every season—or whenever general grime builds up—scrub the gear down thoroughly with warm, soapy water. Let it air dry completely before tossing it back in storage.
Field-Tested Cleaning (Mud & Blood)
- When you are deep in the backcountry and caked in mud or blood, do not sweat it. Dunk the gear directly into any freshwater lake, river, or swamp, give it a hard rub down to clear the mess, and keep moving.
Saltwater Hard Rules
- Saltwater destroys gear if left unchecked. If you are hunting coastal or brackish waters, rinse everything with fresh water after every single hunt. No exceptions.
Seasonal Hardware Maintenance
Check the Rivets: Constant use and rough terrain can loosen hardware over time. Make it a seasonal habit to check every fastener rivet on the Weatherguard material and tighten them down using a standard Phillips head screwdriver.
Warranty & Returns: We Stand Behind Our Gear
We build our gear using high-grade materials and quality craftsmanship so it survives the toughest conditions you can throw at it. That is why we offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty on all workmanship across our active product line.
Our Promise
- As long as a product is active in our current lineup, we will honor a full replacement for any failure caused by defective workmanship or materials.
The Fine Print & Exceptions
- Annual Maintenance Required: We build tough gear, but it still requires basic respect. This warranty does not cover failures caused by neglect, lack of seasonal maintenance (such as failing to rinse saltwater or neglecting to tighten fastener rivets), or clear abuse.
- Keep It Maintained: Follow the care guidelines above, keep your hardware tight, and our gear will take care of you for years to come.
